The Foundation provides financial support to a wide range of good causes and charities. It aims to support charities or causes originating from the Netherlands or the United Kingdom. The Foundation was set up in 2006, holds Dutch charity or ANBI status, and is registered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Any donation or support provided by the Foundation is based on the principle that there are no "strings attached". In other words, the Foundation does not pose any restrictions on how the recipient of any donation uses the funds and it always maintains a low profile, avoiding any press coverage about and any other public recognition of its donations or support.

In deciding on which good causes or charities to support the Foundation only applies this one simple criterion: “the support should have an immediate and real local impact”.
